APPLICATIONS
Coordinate data centre cable management with power distribution, communication routes and operational access. Bonn Metals supplies steel, HDG and GRP/FRP products for defined project requirements across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
Identify the power, communication and other services assigned to each route, then follow the separation requirements established by the project designers. Show branches, equipment approaches, crossings and changes of level in the containment schedule. Compare cable trays, ladders and trunking using the actual cable arrangement, available space and access requirements. Containment selection should be coordinated with the wider electrical and ICT design; the product category alone does not establish an accepted separation arrangement.
Review the current cable layout together with the growth allowance defined for the project. Coordinate widths, cable bending requirements and access to joints or covers around equipment and adjacent services. Provide cable loading and proposed support spacing when requesting product information. Future capacity should remain an identified design input rather than an assumption based on unused containment width. Where work is phased, keep route and item references consistent so later packages can be reviewed against the accepted arrangement.
State the installation environment, material and finish requirements for each part of the route. If GRP or FRP composite containment is being evaluated, request information on the offered construction and the environmental or performance evidence specified by the project. For metallic systems, identify coating, connection and any bonding requirements for review by the responsible designer. Include fittings and support accessories in the enquiry, and request applicable drawings, load/span data and installation guidance before procurement approval.
Start with the product name and share the dimensions, finish, quantity and project location when available.
