Identify the conditions that may affect the proposed cable route, including moisture, airborne contaminants, process substances and operating temperatures. Give the relevant exposure details for each area rather than describing the whole installation simply as industrial. Where a composite alternative is being assessed, request information for the actual GRP/FRP resin system and construction. For steel and HDG products, define the required material and finish. Keep changes between clean service areas, outdoor routes and process zones visible in the material schedule.
Coordinate trays and ladders with equipment connections, isolation points and the working space needed for maintenance. A route should identify cable branches, changes in level and areas where access is restricted by plant or other services. Provide the cable loading, proposed support spacing and any design allowance specified for future additions. Review brackets, framing, joints and fitting supports with the offered system information, and clarify the interface with the supporting structure before treating the containment schedule as a complete installation package.
Compare GRP/FRP cable trays and metallic alternatives using the same route dimensions, exposure conditions and loading inputs. Identify the drawings, material details and performance documents needed for project review, including any specified fire, chemical or temperature requirements. List fittings and support components separately from straight lengths, with quantities and item references. For phased plant work, include the relevant project area and required programme. Product selection, availability and supply terms are confirmed against the proposed configuration and quotation.
